Hi everyone! My name is Riya Kumar, and I’m from Sterling, Virginia. I’m currently a business major at the University of Pittsburgh, where I’m involved in a number of academic and extracurricular activities that have helped shape my interests in global business and innovation. Personally, I’m someone who loves exploring different cultures, trying new foods, and meeting people with unique perspectives. While I’m still figuring out exactly what I want to do professionally, I’m excited to keep exploring different paths and discovering what inspires me along the way.

I’m excited to be a part of the Plus3 South Korea program! I’ve always been fascinated by South Korea’s culture, from its technology and innovation to its rich history and global influence. I chose this program because I’m particularly interested in learning about Korea’s advanced smart systems and how businesses there integrate technology into everyday life. Through Plus3, I hope to grow both personally and professionally by stepping outside my comfort zone, gaining global business insights, and expanding my perspective on how different countries operate in our increasingly interconnected world.
