Hi Korea!

Hello! My name is Gabrielle Trapp, and I am from Trappe, Pennsylvania. I am a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh, double majoring in Global Management and Marketing and planning to get a certification in leadership and ethics. On campus, I am a member of Phi Beta Lambda, which is a professional business organization on campus. I have always had a passion for learning about other countries along with their culture. Additionally, I have always known that I wanted to study business and use my creativity in different ways. While I still have a while to go until I start working, I am definitely interested in working abroad in consulting or marketing.

I am honored and ecstatic to be a part of the Plus3 South Korea program, and I look forward to exploring the culture. I am currently taking Korean as a part of my major requirements, and being able to learn about the culture for so long and then be able to visit that country is a truly remarkable opportunity. I chose this program because Korea is one of the leading countries in the technology sector, and I have always wanted to see how the country seamlessly implements technology into everyday life. Through the Plus3 program, I hope to develop my global perspective, grow professionally, and learn more about myself in the process.
