Hi everyone, I’m Aiyana (Kai) Smith. I am a freshman in the College of Business Administration. While I am currently pursuing a major in Business Analytics, I intend to double major in Global Management. I’m from York, PA from a suburban area so the city was a real jump. I enjoy photography and trying new foods. I love to travel with a reflection of that double major, and video games in my free time. I love walking through nature and a good hike is always a fun time for me. For the past 8 months I’ve been taking online classes to learn Korean in my free time as well. I’m excited to see how much I’ve really learned over the course of this trip.

This will be my first time visiting the eastern part of the world, and I’m excited to experience the cultural differences firsthand. I’m especially interested in seeing how smart systems are integrated in such a technologically advanced country. Outside of a business perspective, the food is one of the most exciting aspects of visiting any country, and from what I’ve seen, South Korea doesn’t disappoint. South Korea is one of the most technologically developed countries in the world and I’m thrilled to see it in action.
