Hi! My name is Isabella Macartie-Hickey, and I’m a senior at the University of Pittsburgh studying Finance. I transferred to Pitt in the Fall 2023 semester to pursue more opportunities in business and academics. Since then, I’ve gotten involved on campus through Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, where I have served as the Director of Professional Development. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends, playing video games, and taking care of my plants.

This May, I’ll be participating in the Plus3 Germany program. I chose this location because I’m interested in global business and Germany’s automotive industry offers a unique opportunity to explore how international supply chains work in real-world settings. This will be my first time traveling outside of the U.S., so I’m very excited to step out of my comfort zone! As well as experience a new culture and connect with both Pitt and Augsburg students. I’m looking forward to gaining a broader global perspective, learning more about international business, and creating lasting memories along the way!
