Hi! My name is Kayla Baker and I am currently a sophomore studying Marketing and Finance. I am from Meadville, PA, which is a small town about two hours north of Pitt. Being from a small town, I knew I wanted to be in a city because it has so many opportunities. At Pitt, I’m involved in Phi Chi Theta business fraternity. This club has helped me learn so many valuable skills, and I’ve made many friends. I enjoy working out, reading, and hanging out with friends.
I applied to Plu3 Germany because I really want to travel. I have never been out of the country before, so this program will be my first time. I am most excited to explore Germany and immerse myself in the culture. I can’t wait to try all the food! I’m looking forward to learning more about the automotive industry and connecting with industry professionals. I’m also excited to meet new people and make new friends throughout our two weeks in Augsburg. Working with the students from Augsburg is a unique experience, and I can’t wait to meet them. I am looking forward to our two weeks abroad!
