Hey everyone! My name is Nate Quigley, and I’m a junior at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Business Analytics and Business Information Systems. I grew up just outside of North Philly in Cheltenham, PA—a place that’s really shaped who I am. At Pitt, I’ve focused a lot on data and tech, but I’m always looking for new ways to expand what I know and how I see the world.
I’m beyond excited for the Plus3 Germany program. I actually took German for five years growing up and was supposed to go on a class trip there, but it got canceled because of COVID. So in a way, this feels like a full-circle moment. Getting the chance to finally explore the country, experience the culture, and see what global business looks like in real time—especially in a place known for its innovation in automotive and manufacturing—is something I’ve been looking forward to for a while.
What I love about this program is that it fits perfectly into my goals without pulling me away from everything else I have going on. I’m eager to connect with people, learn from the site visits, and just take it all in. This is going to be my first time abroad, and I’m ready to learn as much as I can—not just about business, but about life from a whole new perspective.
Can’t wait for May—see you soon, Germany!
