Hi everyone! My name is Varsheni Ramesh, and I’m from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I’m a first-year business student at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in finance with a minor in economics. On campus, I’m involved in Phi Beta Lambda, a professional business organization, as well as Smart Women Securities, an all-women’s investment portfolio. Outside of the classroom, I love discovering new food spots, staying active, and spending time with friends & family.

I’m so excited to be part of the Plus3 Argentina program, where I’ll get to explore firsthand how healthcare systems function in a middle-income country. I chose this program because it offers a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of finance, economics, healthcare, and social equity in a global context.

This experience will allow me to grow both personally and professionally by deepening my understanding of healthcare policy, economic inequality, and Argentina’s culture. Beyond academics, I’m looking forward to exploring the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, whether that’s enjoying local food, learning to tango, visiting museums, and so much more. By the end of this journey, I hope I can say that I’ve met some incredible people, explored unforgettable places, learned more than I could’ve imagined, and created lifelong memories.
