I never fully understood how hard international travel could be until now. My longest travel experience before coming to Cyprus was a four hour flight from Pittsburgh to California, so I had never had the experience of long layovers or overnight flights. This trip introduced me to the struggles of trying to fall asleep in a middle seat of an overnight flight, or waiting nine hours to go to your gate at the airport. However, I am confident that all of this travel is 100 percent worth it because even on the first day I have had a blast. I am so excited for the rest of the program!
