Finally some much needed sleep! Today went a lot more smoothly for my body after the long day of travel before hand. After some breakfast in the morning we all went the University where we first listened to a enlightening presentation by Will Wilkes regarding the state of the German automotive industry before we split up into our groups for the week. During this time we got to know our German partners better and created a quick presentation about our company MAN that we presented around noon. We grouped back together and listened to everyone’s presentations before we headed to lunch at the university’s dining hall.

After lunch we split into two groups and walked around the University for a while before we headed back to the city for our scavenger hunt. Despite a few hijinks along the way I learned some more things about Augsburg I did not the day before like Saint Ulrich and the 22 bishops that served at the Cathedral. The scavenger hunt concluded at Riegle Brewery where we were able to relax and were gifted some drinks from the University of Augsburg. We then made our way back for dinner and met back with our professors. The Italian food was great and were then released for the night where some of us discovered what an Irish Pub in Germany was like. Finally I made my way back to the hotel and rested as we had our first site visit the next day.
