Today we had Vietnamese language class where they taught us the alphabet and how to say different greetings like “hello”, “goodbye”, and “thank you”. We also took part of the class to learn our Vietnamese names and the name I got was Vân.

In the afternoon we did a site visit to Green Viet which is a architecture company that design sustainable buildings. Part of what makes Green Viet a successful company is that they design buildings that their clients are happy with and get more projects to work on from those clients who are developers. This company is mainly reliant on domestic projects rather than international as most of their business is in Vietnam.
