The day started off with an unsettling feeling, but after having some breakfast and water, I began to feel better. Our first activity of the day was a tour of Fredit, the most popular probiotic yogurt brand in Korea. The company operates with only about 100 workers, as most of the manufacturing process is automated. The tour guide demonstrated how raw materials are efficiently converted into the plastic bottles used for the yogurt. At the end of the tour, we were given a tote bag containing a hand towel, some probiotic powder, and three different yogurts.
After visiting Fredit, we went to lunch, which was excellent. The meal included seafood, beef, and a variety of traditional Korean side dishes. Following lunch, Dr. Yun treated us to ice cream from a nearby convenience store.
The bus picked us up from the convenience store, and we made our way to TK Elevator. At the start of the tour, we visited an area designed for employees to relax and socialize. It featured ping pong tables, a gym, a pool table, and even a golf simulator. After spending a little time enjoying this space, we began the official tour.

We first visited their test tower, where they assess the elevators they produce—from carrying capacity to safety features. The second part of the tour was the factory where the elevators are manufactured. We also got to see the employee training area, which included a simulation device that mimicked the force of falling by dropping participants in a controlled manner.
After TK Elevator we went back to the hotel and changed to go out for the night. A few of us walked about 10 minutes from the hotel and found a little restaurant to eat at. After we ate, we walked around more and stopped in a few stores then headed back to the hotel.
