During our visit to Kourion today, there were multiple things that impressed me. First of all, the view from the overlook was amazing, and the water was beautiful. The theater area was also impressive. I especially enjoyed the echo when you talked in the middle of the theater. It is also really cool that Kourion has been around since the Neolithic era, and I also didn’t know that it became a city in the 13th century BC.
Another awesome place we visited today was Limassol Castle. It was very unique and interesting to me that there was an ancient castle right in the middle of a beautiful city. The ceilings were all a lot lower than I expected, but all of the artifacts inside the castle were very cool. My favorite part of this castle was the view from the top, because you could see everything. One historical fact I learned about this castle was that it was the site of Richard the Lionheart’s wedding.
