After a long and time-consuming travel day we finally arrived in our destination, the beautiful Augsburg. My first impression on the bus ride from Munich was how some of the landscapes where much more beautiful than what we have in Pennsylvania. I sat eyes glued to the surroundings, taking in everything I could see. The vast fields varied in color, very aesthetic to look at. Once in Augsburg we arrived at the hotel and dropped our bags off. Everyone was exhausted, but we powered through for a tour of the city with our guide from the local Augsburg University.
The first impression I got from the was how cool the architecture was. Personally, I love the German style and layouts of a city. The old town feel mixed with classical style buildings help to create a really cool city. We visited the famous town hall, The Rathaus, and many other integral parts of Augsburg. Something I didn’t expect was how cool every little alley and small street where. You could take a turn and stumble upon a small river between two beautiful buildings. Augsburg 100% lived up the hype and everything I had seen regarding it before we had left. We are fortunate to be staying in such a unique city. The picture i chose was the first grand cathedral we visited. This is the door of it.
