Visiting Bukchon Hanok Village honestly felt like stepping into a historical k-drama. The old hanok houses were so beautiful and peaceful and it was wild to find out how expensive some of them. We wandered around, peeked into a few cute souvenir shops, and snapped a bunch of photos with the most incredible views of the rooftops and skyline.
Before we left, I got a fortune that told me all about different parts of my life—like work, love, and friendships. It was surprisingly detailed and kind of spooky how accurate some of it felt. Then we headed to lunch, and I had these amazing spicy noodles. They were seriously hot, but I couldn’t stop eating them. And don’t even get me started on the kimchi squid—I didn’t think I’d like it that much, but I was obsessed.
Later in the day, we walked over to Insadong, where we browsed through little shops and vintage stores. I picked up a few fun things and treated myself to a strawberry tiramisu, which was exactly what I needed after all the spice. To wrap up the night, a bunch of us went to a revolving sushi restaurant—which was so much fun and honestly delicious. It was the perfect way to end the day, and I’d totally go back again in a heartbeat.
