Day 8: Cooking Class

We had a slow, cozy start to the morning and went out for breakfast at this cute spot called The Flying Pan. I ended up ordering the French toast, which I normally don’t love—but this one totally changed my mind. After breakfast, a few of us made our way to Seoul Tower. Even though I’d already been there before, seeing it in the daylight with such perfect weather made it feel like a whole new experience.

Lunchtime was a fun surprise—we got free fried chicken (major shoutout to Dr. Yun for that!). We also walked around the tower and took some pictures by the famous love locks, which made for such a great little memory. Later in the afternoon, we met up with the rest of the group and went to a cooking class where we learned how to make bibimbap. Our instructor was super kind and explained everything so well, even for people who don’t cook much. Making the dish ourselves made it that much more satisfying to eat, and it was honestly really filling.

After the class, we headed back to the hotel to wind down. To wrap up the day, two of my friends and I decided to treat ourselves to some dessert. It was the perfect low-key way to end such a full, fun day.
