Today we started off 15 minutes late, shoutout Aruni and Peter, and we began our trek to Pafos. Our first stop at Aphrodite’s rock had to be one of the top moments so far. I liked that we did it early in the morning, so there wasn’t much of a crowd. The scenery of the pebble beach wasn’t even comparable to the beaches I’ve seen before either. (Fig Tree Bay was okay, however I prefer a little less sand) The huge rocks with the mediterranean sea in the background was to die for. After that we went to the Tomb of Kings, which was interesting as well. It was fun to climb through all of the little passageways and the view was also incredible. As lunchtime rolled around and we finally got to Pafos, Alexis and I split the best Greek Gyro I have EVER had in my life, as we ate with most of the group. (Picture is below of course) After my mukbang, we went to see the mosaics in Pafos, which were about Greek Gods and Goddesses. I had zero clue there was that much detail in a mosaic, but I loved looking at all the colors and scenes each one had. Plus, each mosaic had an intricate story behind it, and I loved learning about each one from Georgia. For free time, most of the group stayed together, and we even bought a deck of cards at a local shop, so we could play together. Overall, I would say it was a day well spent.
