Today we had a very warm welcome at GROB. We started off the day with a short presentation where they offered us some snacks and drinks. After the presentation, we got a tour of the factory. The factory is very clean. What surprised me was how big it was. I knew this was a smaller company than the ones we had previously visited, so I expected it to be smaller than the other companies. However, the factory was very big. After the tour, we had another presentation that gave me great insights into the business world and how GROB is navigating the business world. It was so informative. Something that I noticed about this company is that it is a family business, and you could tell. All the employees seemed happy and they seemed like they had fun and enjoyed their job. For example, they had metal 3D prints of different things such as Neuschwanstein, a dragon for the year of the dragon, and the Matterhorn. They told us that they had a competition to see who could print the best one. I found this to really show the company culture. It seems like a great place to work. We arrived back in Augsburg early today and had some free time. We got some lunch and walked around to enjoy the beautiful day. The rest of the day was spent working hard on our presentation for tomorrow!
