Today was a really adventurous day. We woke up in our new hotel in Gernika with a great breakfast. After breakfast we immediately got on a bus with our tour guide for the day. We started to make our first location called San Juan. This was a very intense walk but it was so worth it. We were all able to go at our own pace and take as many pictures as we wanted. The view the whole walk was absolutely beautiful and really encouraged me to keep going during my walk. After the hike we stopped at Mundaka for lunch. They had a huge variety of pintxos and were my favorite for the whole trip.

After lunch we made our way to our next hiking spot for the day. This hike was not as intense but it was still quite exhausting especially after having a hike earlier the same day. However, it was still completely worth it to see all the scenery. Once you make it through the first part of the hike you are brought to a forest with painted trees. There are spots on the ground where you are able to stand to make a picture when all the trees are lined up correctly. It was really interesting to go to each spot and see each painting complete. Overall, I really enjoyed today and had been looking forward to it since the beginning of the trip.
