Today, we visited St. Mina’s Monastery and Lefkara Village. With both of these places, I noticed a lot of similarities to places we visited earlier in the program. For example, St. Mina’s Monastery reminded me of St. Lazarus Church. Both churches had similar architecture, and the gold inside of each church looked extremely similar. Additionally, Lefkara Village reminded me of Saturday morning when we visited Varosi. Both of these villages are small, and I had a very similar shopping and dining experience in both villages. Overall, I am very glad that we got to visit both of these places, and it was interesting to draw parallels to other locations in Cyprus.
