Now that the company visits were over, it was time to give final presentations. Harry and I worked on our slides on Tuesday with our free time. My company was GROB and we built most of presentation around what was talked about during the company visits. Building the Ansoff Matrix and examining GROBs competition was interesting work. For Wednesday’s presentations, we had no plans other than to meet on campus at 2. So, I was able to catch up on sleep and I headed over to the University of Augsburg to meet my group around noon. After touching up the slides and running through the presentation once, we met in the classroom to hear everyone else’s presentations. I think everyone else did well and all presentations were very interesting. Each presentation took about a half hour and we wrapped up at 4:30ish. Afterwards, we headed back to the hotel to freshen up and headed to dinner at the Ratskeller. The Ratskeller is under the Rathaus and the restaurant has a dim cellar-like atmosphere. I ordered the Schnitzel and it was one of my favorite meals of the trip so far. It was nice to have a final meal with the whole group before splitting off for the free day. Saying goodbye to the Germans was sad because some of them I will probably never see again. The goal is to stay in touch for the future and hopefully I meet up with some of them at some point. I plan on doing a semester abroad next year in Italy and hopefully I can see some of them then.
