Hi! My name is Antoinette Adeyemo, and I am a junior at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in finance. I’m from Raleigh, North Carolina. In my free time, I love to go hiking, take cycling classes, and go thrifting! I also have two part-time jobs in Raleigh at a retirement home and Outback Steakhouse. On campus, I have two more jobs: Member Services Manager at the Rec center and Prevention Assistant with Prevention at Pitt. I’m also involved with two student organizations: Delta Sigma Pi and Smart Women Securities.
This past summer, I had the pleasure of traveling to Dublin, Ireland, for the International Internship Program. I had such a transformative time abroad, I wanted to complete a second study abroad program before my internship this summer!
I chose Plus 3 Germany to learn from experienced automotive professionals who are driving global automotive excellence through manufacturing plant tours for automotive and technology companies such as Audi. I’m most excited to make new connections with German students through our upcoming group project. I’m eager to immerse myself in a new culture by learning (some) German and trying new food! This global experience will enhance my cultural learning by providing me with a worldly understanding of the business world that expands beyond my home country. I can take my newfound knowledge of Germany and the EU as a whole to add context when analyzing global business issues facing our world.
