Introducing Me

on

Hi! My name is Sadie Feingold, and I am a first-year student in the School of Business and Frederick Honors College. I’m from Rockaway, NJ, and considering double-majoring in Marketing and Business Analytics, but I’m still exploring my options. On campus, I am involved in Phi Beta Lambda, a professional business organization, where I will be serving as Co-VP of Public Relations next year. I am also a part of the American Marketing Association. Outside of class, I enjoy going for long walks in Schenley, exploring different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh, watching comedies (although I’ve also been really getting into The Pitt lately), reading, and junk journaling. Over the summer, I work as a camp counselor in my hometown.

Before being a camp counselor this summer, I am very excited to participate in the Plus3 Morocco program through the School of Business. The program has an emphasis on technology and entrepreneurship, which I thought would be really interesting to learn more about, considering how much is already changing in these areas within the United States. I also believe that hearing local community members and entrepreneurs in Morocco speak about what they are passionate about will help give me some more clarity about my future career. The chance to participate in a homestay with a host family in Morocco was also something that really stood out to me about this program.

On this trip, I know I will deepen my understanding of business, of the world around me, and of myself. It will force me to get out of my comfort zone and be more intentional with how I communicate and interact with others. It is comforting to know that I will be having this experience with several other Pitt Business students as we navigate our time abroad together. As we work together to consult with different Moroccan businesses about recommendations for them moving forward, I know it will be a challenging but ultimately very rewarding process.

I am very grateful to have this amazing opportunity and am excited to begin exploring Morocco!
