Who Am I?

Hello! I am Reva Patil, a freshman studying Marketing and Finance at Pitt Business. I am originally from South Brunswick, New Jersey, a town about a 5 hour drive from Pitt. Outside of the classroom, I love to watch TV and film, listen to music, draw, read comics, and play video games! I aim to work as a Marketing Analyst or somewhere in Advertising after my studies here. However, I am most excited to learn and experience new things on this Plus3 trip!

I will be going to Vietnam for Plus3 this summer. The reason I chose Plus3 is for the new perspectives it can give me. While much information can be learned in the classroom by a professor, a lot of real skills are picked up through hands-on exploration and experience, and I can get those skills through the Plus3 program. I am also drawn to Plus3 Vietnam because Vietnam is a country I had never expected to visit. I wanted a new experience, and there is no better experience than immersing yourself in an unfamiliar culture! I am especially looking forward to meeting our counterparts at the UEF in Vietnam. One of the things I hope to get out of this trip is making more connections, and I love finding common interests to talk about with people, so this trip will let me expand my networking abilities and learn more about people. I also hope to learn about business in Vietnam, something that can help my understanding of business in the USA and on an international level.

I am more than excited to visit Vietnam this summer for Plus3, and I am confident it will be a thrilling and educational experience!!
