Hello! I am Andrew Buzard and I am a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh School of Business, where I plan on majoring in marketing. I’m from Pittsburgh and live just about 20 minutes away from the Pitt campus. I am unsure exactly what I want my future career to look like so I’m trying to experience as many things as I can. I’m a member the American Marketing Association at Pitt as well as the Conservation Club. I cannot wait to see what my next 3 years while at Pitt hold for me but I will make sure I don’t miss out on anything!

Travel has always been a part of my life, usually with my family, so I knew I wanted to get into the Plus3 program. I chose Vietnam because I have never been Asia and knew if I didn’t go now I would wouldn’t be able to visit Asia for a long time also, I’ve only been across an ocean once which was to Europe so Asia will be nothing I’ve ever experienced before. I’m also hoping this trip will deepen my appreciation for global business and help me to understand what others around the world are going through and how to connect with people who have completely different backgrounds from me. I can’t wait to depart for Vietnam and meet all the amazing people who live there!
