Hi everyone! My name is Jordan Elmaleh and I am a freshman nursing student at the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg campus. I am 26 years old and a first generation college student. I was born and raised in sunny Jupiter, Florida. My late grandmother was an Alumni of this prestigious institution and it was always my dream to pursing nursing at Pitt. I am pursing a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and hope to work in labor and delivery or pediatrics. I am an active of member of the Students in Nursing Association and Black Students Union. My favorite hobbies are to spend time with my friends, reading, horseback riding, and trying food from different cultures. This will be my first time leaving the country and I am so excited for my first trip abroad!

I will be attending the Plus3 two week program in Birmingham, England. I chose Birmingham because I always wanted to explore the UK and try different foods cultures I have not had the pleasure to try. This opportunity is a once in a lifetime experience and I am grateful that I can participate. See you soon Birmingham!
