This is it! I have been prepping for this since December and we’re finally going! It wasn’t easy getting ready to go. Yesterday was packing day basically everything in the dorm was thrown in a random box and put in the back of the truck, and if it was going to Korea it went on the bed. In 6 hours and a lunch break everything that wasn’t coming was packed up and gone. We had the pre-departure dinner yesterday and I never realized how many people are doing the plus 3 we have people going to Greece, Spain, and the Netherlands, and of course us. Then we had a group dinner it had some suspiciously bright yellow pineapple. I also did a last-minute shop for business casual at target for a cardigan they recently changed their clothes to summer and swimsuits it is not cardigan buying season if anyone is curious. Absolutely nothing there 3 options but I got something came back to the empty dorm room and went to sleep.
This all of us who are going on plus3 adventures. I hope they took more pictures because I am not looking at the camera in this one.
This morning I was up at 8 doing last minute packing stuff. I was finding myself more nervous than excited did I pack everything I needed; did I pack to much? But I took what I had and left for the bus. Speaking of the bus the driver was the most aggressive bus driver I have ever meet. Anyway, once we got all together, I started to feel excited! I think it was the group energy; we’re all ready for this. And after triple checking for passports, we left for the airport. Checked the bags, went through TSA (got stopped I forgot about no water) and now just waiting for the plane. I just am looking around at everyone I think a lot of people are playing games or writing their blog. I can’t wait to get on the plane I love the feeling of take-off!
It’ll be a few hours before we get to Seoul, so I’ll do some napping in-between finish a “how I met your mother” marathon and then we’re all in! Palace on the first day, K-pop dance class the second, and I am most excited for the temple stay. I am now in vacation mode bye bye!
