Today, we had the opportunity to visit the Ellinikon, which will be the largest coastal park experience in Europe. I learned about sustainability in park design and how smart living will be further promoted throughout Greece and Europe as a whole once the project is complete. I will always remember walking into the experience and seeing how all the modern design looked so futuristic, and also how the sustainability aspect of smart living implemented in the Ellinikon apartments will positively impact Athens. This experience will impact my future because now I have a greater understanding of sustainable design and how it can be further applied to engineering design.
