Today when we visited Lamda, we were able to learn about BIM and GIS technology and how they are implemented into engineering works. Visiting where the Ellinikon is being built showed me how the application of technology is more heavily emphasized and how it is integrated into more large-scale projects. This will impact my work as a future engineer because the site visit introduced me to different technologies and showed me what technology skills are expected in certain engineering disciplines, which will better prepare me for my engineering career.
