Today we went to the construction site for the Ellinikon park with Lambda Development. Our visit to the site changed my perspective on engineering, especially how I view being a future project manager and leader in the workplace. Listening to the civil engineering lead passionately discuss every aspect of the construction process was incredibly engaging. It was genuinely enjoyable to watch him answer our many questions with a smile, even seeming disappointed when our visit had to end. It was inspiring to see leadership that is truly passionate about the project they are working on. His involvement and enthusiasm reminded me of my last blog and seem to be a common theme across Greek engineering projects and is a quality I hope to carry with me into my own future career.
