Over the past few days, experiencing the culture and history of Athens has given me a new perspective on how the past continues to influence the present and future. Walking around the city, visiting the Acropolis of Athens, and exploring museums allowed me to see how ancient history, architecture, and traditions still shape modern Greece today. One of the most memorable experiences was participating in a cooking class with our Greek cousins, because it showed me how culture can be passed down through everyday activities and shared with others. These experiences helped me understand the importance of learning about different cultures and histories, especially in a world that is becoming more connected every year. In the future, whether through engineering, travel, or meeting new people, I think the cultural awareness I am gaining in Greece will help me communicate better, appreciate different perspectives, and become a more well-rounded person.
