Today was my favorite outing of our trip. We started the day with a bus ride to the Temple of Poseidon, which had many great views of the coast. At the temple, we got to see more beautiful views of the ocean and the temple structure, which were some of my favorites of the whole trip. During the temple visit, we learned about some Greek history and why the temple has so many pillars pulled down. After that, the group spent their free time at the beach playing spikeball and swimming in the freezing cold but crystal-clear water. The water was so clear that I was able to see the fish swimming around us and all the rocks on the sea floor. We stayed until sunset, closing out the day of fun and group bonding that we had.
