Hey! My name is Dylan Cohn, and I am a student at the University of Pittsburgh Studying business majoring in finance and accounting with a minor in mathematics. I am originally from Pittsburgh, and outside of academics, I love to golf, hang out with my friends, and play video games. I have always been someone who cares a lot about learning, especially when it comes to understanding how businesses and industries operate throughout the world. Through both my school and my own experiences, I have developed a strong interest in leadership, innovation, and global business environments.
Additionally, one thing that has always interested me is learning about how people live differently throughout the world and how culture can influence everyday life, business practices, and communication. I enjoy meeting new people, and gaining perspectives that are different from my own. I believe some of the best learning experiences happen outside of a classroom, especially when you are fully immersed in a new environment and surrounded by unfamiliar ideas and experiences.
This summer, I am extremely excited to travel to Argentina through the Plus3 program and explore the intersection of business and healthcare from an international perspective. I am looking forward to learning how healthcare systems differ across countries, how businesses within the industry adapt to challenges, and how culture influences both patient care and innovation. Beyond the academic experience, the opportunity to be surrounded by a completely different culture is especially exciting to me, and I hope to come back to Pittsburgh with a new perspective and greater appreciation for everyday life. Also, as a side note, my favorite artist, Drake, is releasing a new album while we are in Argentina on May 15th, and that alone makes this trip even more special to me.
