We started the day heading to a cute restaurant after breakfast to get churros and chocolate! They were so so good and a great fun treat to start the day! The chocolate was so rich and the churros were perfectly sweet. We then walked to a flea market which was really cute. It had jewelry, books and a huge section for flowers. I got a heart ring which I’m really excited to wear. I also loved to look at all the pretty flowers and everyone buying them for their friends and family.

Then we headed to the funicular. The views of the city was absolutely stunning and it was such a cool perspective of the city. It reminded me so much of the Duquesne incline! We all had a group discussion to talk about our trip so far and what we learned. For me the biggest surprise I’ve noticed is the differences in our healthcare system. I really enjoyed talking and listening to everyone and hearing what everyone has learned so far this trip.

Afterwards a group of us went out to lunch at a burger place, which was so good. And then we all hung out to celebrate Eloise’s birthday! I’m having such a good time so far and can’t wait for next week!!
