Sadly, we have reached our last full day in Greece. This has been a great adventure and we had one great last company visit to wrap things up. We visited AlphaOmega today which is a Pharma-logistics company that operates only in Greece. We recieved a presentation on their company then took a guided tour of their warehouse. This tour was absolutely amazing. We saw stacks of boxes and products, similar to how a home depot looks. We saw people operates all different types of forklifts around the warehouse to move boxes. They also showed us their freezer they have to use for products that must be chilled. We also had to stand on a single line the entire time to not interfere with the machinery. After this tour, I think that most warehouses in general need a lot of people to operate efficiently. When I usually think of a warehouse, that does not immediately come to my mind. But after today and seeing people work in one, I have gained that new perspective. Greece has been truly a life changing trip and I will miss this place and my friends on this trip dearly. We will return in 10 years when the Ellinikon in finished. Signing off, Massimo Mastria.
