Snapshots of Marrakesh

Colorful Fruit Market: My friends and I got invited to go on top of the fruit stand while music was playing through the market. I chose this photo because the fruit displays were so colorful and the whole atmosphere felt lively and welcoming.

Turtles in the Souks: We randomly found these turtles while walking through the souks, which completely surprised us. I chose this photo because it shows how unexpected and interesting the markets in Morocco can be.

Natural Herbs and Spices: I loved seeing all the colorful herbs, spices, and natural products displayed in jars. The herbalist shops were full of natural remedies and teas, and the smell inside was amazing.

Pink Wall and Water Seller: The man in this photo is called a “Garrab,” a traditional Moroccan water seller who hands out water in tiny cups and rings them together like a bell. I chose this picture because the pink wall, palm trees, and traditional clothing made the whole scene feel so unique and beautiful.

Detailed Ceiling Inside the Riad: I chose this photo because the detail inside the riad was incredible. The colorful patterns and designs on the ceiling showed how artistic and beautiful Moroccan architecture is.
