Today we visited the Cliffs of Moher. It was an unbelievable experience. The drive up was the first time I felt like I was seeing what I thought Ireland really looked like. There were farms and fields as far as the eye can see. Everything was green and beautiful and it was very peaceful. I could tell when we were getting close by the tourists.
Visiting the cliffs was one of the most beautiful breathtaking experiences of my life. It is always humbling seeing mother nature at work and witnessing things you feel you may never see again. It was nice to take a minute and just take in the view. The air was thick with the smell of salt water and you could hear the gentle roar of the waves as you observed the surrounding areas.
As I sat and pondered I began to think of the thousands of tourists that visit the cliffs every year free of charge to walk freely. It is Irelands most popular tourist attraction. Standing on the cliffs got me to thinking how potentially profitable it could be to setup a system to tour in. I feel it would be a good idea to give helicopter tours to visitors who want a more in depth view of the cliffs and who are interested in its history. The cliffs are a very popular attraction and I feel that people would be interested in taking helicopter tours through the cliffs.
