Today was our last day of the Plus3 program. This trip was truly amazing and I’m sad for it to be over. We headed to the Milan Fashion Library, which has multiple rooms filled with books and magazines that fashion designers can go to for inspiration at any time. It was really fascinating to look through all of the fashion trends of the past. They even had archives dating back to the 19th century! We were there for a couple hours and didn’t even look through a fraction of the books they had.
After the fashion library, we had our last group lunch. We went to this really nice restaurant and sat outside. The table was surrounded by greenery and looked really nice. Our meal was more risotto and veal, but I really enjoyed it! We also had a nice dessert, which was a chocolate cake with a nutty pear filling. It was a great way to end the trip.
After lunch, we had the rest of the day to ourselves since we aren’t going to the airport until tomorrow. We all took a couple hours to rest, then went out shopping. Again, since many of the stores around here are designer, it was hard to find affordable items, but we found a couple stores to shop in! Then, we went to dinner at a very small place near where we were shopping but honestly, it was not very good. However, afterwards we went to get gelato from Venchi, which was delicious! I will definitely miss this trip and all of my friends, but I’ll never forget the memories!
