Irish I never got on the plane to leave

Hello everyone, this is my last post for the trip. I can honestly say I have never been so sad about leaving a place. There are not enough words to describe how much fun I had on this trip learning new things everyday and continuously meeting new people. I was able to learn the similarities and differences between the Irish culture and the United States’ culture. I was able to see how different the work environment is there. Going into the trip, I had some stereotypes in my mind about things I have heard about the Irish. While some of them were true, there were a surprising number of stereotypes that I found to be false. This trip has taught me to be more aware of my surroundings, especially when crossing the streets! I was able to see how relaxed the work environment in Ireland is compared the United States’ work environment. It was amazing to see multiple small local businesses throughout the city. I have gained a new appreciation for natural beauty after visiting the Cliffs of Moher and the Wicklow Mountains. I have never seen so much natural beauty in my life, it was absolutely breathtaking. It was very interesting seeing the differences between the small towns like Galway and Kilkenny, compared to Dublin. Personally, I found the small towns very relaxing while Dublin during rush hour was kind of hectic. Overall, this trip is something I could do over and over again. I have found a new appreciation for traveling and hope to travel to Europe again soon, but hopefully stay for longer than 2 weeks. I am now signing off, hopefully I will be back on in a new country!
