Today was my favorite day so far during this study abroad trip in Ireland. We spent time visiting the Cliffs of Moher and Galway. You could tell these places were very touristy by the amount of people walking around the areas. On the Ireland tourism site, it shows the different places tourists can visit and information about them, advancing the market and tourism of Ireland. You could tell our group was one of the tourists by the amount of pictures we had taken at the locations.
The Cliffs of Moher were probably one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen in my life. The pictures do not do it any justice. I also really enjoyed Galway and wish we could have spent more time there. There were shops, restaurants, and even little ice cream shops everywhere, with live music being played in the streets. I would definitely recommend and encourage others to visit Ireland. There are many sites, castles, churches, etc. with amazing architecture and much more. These sites are definitely worth it to see in person. I also feel like there is much to do here, no matter what your interests are.
I definitely wish I had more time here in Ireland to do more stuff as a tourist. I would probably go back and spend more time in Galway going to the many shops. I would also look more in depth on online sites such as the Ireland tourist website to see what other sites I could visit. Even just walking around Dublin is very interesting and having more here would give me the opportunity to learn more about it. Even though our trip ends next week, I could see my self coming back to Ireland in the future.
