Hi everyone! My name is Abby Skariah, and I am from Lower Merion, Pa. I am currently a student in the College of Business Administration studying Finance and Marketing with a minor in Law, Criminal Justice, and Society (LCJS). In the future, I hope to attend law school and pursue a career in corporate law. Outside of school, I love to play tennis, make and try new foods, and explore the outdoors. Here at Pitt, I am a member of the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, Panther Equity, and the South Asian Student Association.   

I am so excited to participate in the Plus3 Cyprus 2 program! I love learning about new cultures and understanding life through different perspectives. Traveling to Cyprus will allow me to go outside my comfort zone and immerse myself in new cultures. As someone who enjoys trying and exploring new things, I’m looking forward to trying Cypriot cuisine and exploring the old city, historical districts, and of course, the beaches. This will be the first step in my study abroad journey that will possibly lead me to study abroad for an entire semester. As a business student, I am excited to work alongside engineering students to grasp the entire product development process from concept to consumer. By participating in site meetings and working with my peers, I hope to grow professionally and academically so that I may use these skills in my future career. I can’t wait to embark on this amazing opportunity!
