Hello! My name is Courtney Murphy, and I am from Ridgewood, New Jersey. I am currently a first year student studying Nursing on the Oakland Campus. On campus, I am involved in Greek Life and CHAARG, a women’s workout club. In the future, I hope to get my doctorate to become an advanced practice nurse. I am interested in nurse anesthesiology.

 I am so excited to be traveling to the UK in May for the Plus3 UK program! I chose this program because I wanted to take advantage of studying abroad as early as possible in my collegiate career. I love to explore and learn, and I know that this will be a great chance to do so. Throughout this trip, I hope to learn more about the healthcare and education systems in the UK and experience them first hand. I am also excited to learn about the cultural differences in the UK. I hope this trip will give me the skills required to be the best nurse possible to individuals with backgrounds, cultures, and identities different from my own.
