Today is officially our first day with the Plus3 Cyprus 2023 gang! One splendid night in Nordenburg, and we’re off! After meeting all of the crew and getting to know each other more and more through various silly ways like a very impromptu target run for last minute purchases and a morning Pam’s run, we are all fully ready to start the trip. Our excitement is through the roof! After leaving for the airport at 12, everything was going according to plan except for the fact I thought I left my passport behind, however thankfully I just gave it to Murph and forgot. Despite my missing passport scare, the group was itching to get going. We started by going from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC, a quick and nice flight. Next up was our flight from DC to Germany, which is the longest flight I’ve ever been on. Honestly, it wasn’t too bad plus the turbulence was fun in a way. My only complaint would be the fact I was stuck in the middle. A day of traveling may not be everyone’s favorite, but overall it was a good chance to bond with the whole group. This is just the beginning and knowing how excited everyone else has only boosted the morale. Can’t wait to see what’s next and experience the vast amount of culture a foreign country has to offer!
