5/11: Na zdraví!!

Dobrý den!! Today was a day full of fun and cool experiences. We started out at Charles University, where we did a language class in the morning, and I learned how many uses there are for prosím. took a break for lunch, and listened to a history/economics lecture in the afternoon where we discussed engineering industries throughout history. On the lunchbreak, I broke off with a few people and got crepes, and we also saw the Kafka head turn on the hour! After the lectures, a few people and I went to the beer experience, which was so so cool. Afterwards, we visited another museum, and we are getting dinner later!

So far, I have noticed a lot about the differences between college life here and college life in the United States. To start, the campuses here are nearly non-existent. There was a smaller campus at the technical university, but not really at Charles University. The building that we were in was less than a block from the Mexican embassy! Because there is not really a campus, I haven’t seen many students just mingling and hanging around like they do at college campuses in the United States.

Na shledanou! I am very much looking forward to our visit at CEZ tomorrow!
