Today was our tour of Dachau. I plan to keep this blog short as I don’t have too much to say about this awful place. We had a wonderful tour that I feel was very informative and taught me a lot. Walking around and learning about all the unspeakable things that happened here was very sad. You could feel everyone’s sad energy learning about the awful place.

While touring Dachau or other concertation camps is very sad it’s important for everyone to do so. In fact, in Germany every student is required to do this. This is so history is never repeated, and the phrase “Never Again” is mentioned a lot. Today was a very sad day and a somber experience but I’m very glad I got the chance to have this experience, so that I will never forget.
