Art, art, and more art!!

Prague day 9!!! And we finally got to have a lazy morning. This meant we all pretty much skipped breakfast and stayed sleeping until the las possible second. I grabbed. A quick lunch at the convenience store, and then we were off to Kunsthalle Praha, a brand-new art space that aims to connect the Czech and international art scenes. Our tour guide for the day around the exhibits was actually a Pitt alumni, who graduated from Katz with an MBA when the international program was still in effect.

I am not a huge art person, but I did really enjoy walking around the space as well as seeing all the different exhibits. I especially enjoyed some of the photographs that were being displayed from all different areas of the world as well as time periods. We also got an in depth tour of the museums underground, including private areas where they store art and a walkthrough of their ventilation system that must be top notch in order to keep the art in pristine condition.

The night ended with an alumni event with more graduates from the Katz School of Business international program, and it was really fun to mingle with Pitt grads and hear about what they are up to in Prague.

I wasn’t feeling the greatest today, just a slight headache and cold, so the night ended a little early with some pizza and ice cream on the Charles Bridge, but I am very excited for what the rest of the week holds!!

Until Tomorrow

Emma
