Today we started the day by touring the company Nano Energies. They work with other companies to try and equate the amount of energy that is produced for the energy grid, with the amount of energy that is taken out. Then, we travelled to the National Technical Museum, and got a tour of a few of the exhibitions. They have a cool historic car exhibit where all but 1 of the cars was made or driven in the Czech Republic. They also had a model of the astronomical clock from the Old Town Square, so I got to see and understand how that worked. Tonight, we have a River Boat Cruise where we will eat dinner and float on the Vltava River.

I would say that I am most grateful for the locals who have been very friendly to me. The waiters and other shop owners that I have interacted with have all been very nice and helpful. Also, all of the companies and guides who have given us presentations and tours have made them engaging and interesting. Lastly, I am very grateful to Jana who has accompanied us to almost every place we have gone since landing in the Czech Republic. She as shared history, culture, and restaurant recommendations, and I honestly don’t think that this trip would have been the same without her. Also, I was grateful that the technical school had that awesome elevator! 🙂
