Ciao

Our final full day has finally come to an end. This trip has been one of the greatest experiences of my entire life. I never would have thought that I could learn so much in such a short amount of time. Today we had our final presentations, Myself along with Ann Barney, Sarah Klingsmith, and Adriana Rivera presented on the Obras Sociales sector of the healthcare system in Argentina. I think we did an amazing job on our presentation, but it doesn’t compare to the job that our professors, Grant Martsolf and Lynnea Lombardi, have done to make this one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. They did an amazing job organizing this trip and ensuring that we learned the most we could in the short two weeks we had together. For that I sincerely thank them. I also want to thank Dr. Gabriel Novak. He is a board member of Swiss Medical Group, a very large private healthcare organization in Argentina, and is extremely well connected within the Argentine Health Care System. Because of him, we were able to meet with some of the most valued and distinguished people in the healthcare system of Argentina. There is no way we could have learned as much as we did without him, so I again want to thank him for that. My favorite part of the trip has to be the people I met. Coming into this trip I didn’t know anyone, and I can now say I’m leaving with fourteen new friends. Whether it was taking a lecture from the Ministry of Health for Buenos Aires, or trying some of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten, every experience has been one to remember. Thank you, everyone, who has tuned in and contributed to making this amazing opportunity a reality.
