The final day of our trip started bright and early at 12:00 am when our bus picked us up to take us to the Larnaca Airport. It was weird heading down the streets of Limassol with all of our luggage knowing we were going to the airport and not another cultural site or company visit.

After our first flight of the day, it was time to say some goodbyes in the Frankfurt airport 🙁 I am going to miss everyone so much. The Pittsburgh and Philly groups headed over to catch our next flight to Chicago. I was very grateful that for this flight (the longest one) I had an empty seat next to me. Once we landed in Chicago, we were greeted by a loooong customs line. Thankfully someone in our group suggested we download an app that let us skip the line, saving us a bunch of time! I had my last shared meal with some of my favorite plus 3 people (McDonalds <3) and it was time for the final leg of the journey to Philly.

Thank you to Dr. Streiner, Jodi, and the global semesters team for making this trip so great. I am so so happy I got the opportunity to go on this trip. Although I’m happy to be home, I am going to miss seeing everyone, but I’m hoping we will all get a chance to hang out in Oakland next semester.
