Hi! My name is Malina Boord! I am an Early Childhood Education major and play basketball at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg campus. While playing basketball I have also been very involved on campus. I am a member of SPSEA and SAAC. I work at Target and nanny a 5-year-old. In my free time, I like to go to the gym and shop with my mom. My dream is to become a Kindergarten teacher and travel the world on my summer breaks. 

I am a part of the United Kingdom Plus3 program. I have traveled to many places before but this is my first time studying while abroad. I chose this program for many reasons. For one main reason, I grew up in a low-income area. I watched a lot of variations of barriers. Comparing the UK’s barriers to the States will be interesting to see. Traveling to the UK will broaden my understanding of the environment I want to create in my future classroom. I am eager to compare how situations are handled in the UK to the States to make me become a better person. I am so excited to enjoy the food while walking around the city. I want to create great relationships with the people around me.
