Final Blog

Today was the last day of our plus3 South Korea experience. My group and I started the day by finishing up our final project that we were presenting later on in the day. Our project was to make a fake business and try and sell the idea to our professors and peers. Our group invented SwingSmart, which had a similar concept to Topgolf but with baseball and we integrated various smart systems we’ve seen while on this trip. Each group also had to make a short 2-3 minute video with memories and vlogs from our trip, so we finished that up as well. We then we headed with the group to the Han River Cruise. We took the subway to get there and then ate boxed lunches before getting on the cruise. It was my first time having a Korean boxed lunch and it didn’t disappoint. I had some vegetables, rice and chicken and it was amazing. We got on the cruise after and that was another great experience. The feeling of the wind blowing through the boat and seeing the views on the water was great.

And that was the last trip we made. We went to a business center to present our projects and videos, walked around Myeongdong one last night and headed out for the plane at 12pm the next day. This trip has been so surreal for me and I’ve loved every minute of it. From the city to the people on the trip and the food, this has really been a fantastic experience for me overall. I’ve made so many memories and will forever have pictures from this trip to remind me of all of the once in a lifetime opportunities I was given. I am beyond thankful for this experience and hope to continue to develop professionally, socially and as a person as a whole.
